Sarah Stone is the eldest child of Steven and Cynthia Stone. She has long, messy, light blonde hair and light blue eyes. She wears big, round glasses. Due to not speaking until age four, Sarah knows sign language. Her middle (and former first) name, Morgan, comes from the gemstone, Morganite, which Steven named her after. The name Sarah was chosen by herself. Occasionally, to avoid drawing attention to herself, she uses Morgan as a surname.
When Sarah was a young child, she'd often be found talking to seemingly nothing, had nightmares about a “scary place”, and would hate being around Cynthia's Spiritomb due to it being “too noisy”. It turns out that due to Cynthia's visit to the Distortion World while she was pregnant gave Sarah the ability to commune with ghosts, spirits, and Ghost-type pokemon. The dreams she'd been having were of the Distortion World.
At a certain point, Spiritomb's cacophony started sounding like words to Sarah, and she began trying to figure out what it was trying to tell her. She found that it is extremely mischievous and mostly asks for extra poffins (which they both decided to jokingly call a “snackrifice”). Spiritomb sometimes offers Sarah advice if she looks like she needs it.
Due to several factors, like her parents' fame, her ability to talk to ghosts, and social ineptitude, Sarah’s human friends were few and far between. Her friendship with Mikey, her first and best friend, was only formed due to her parents' acquaintanceship with two other ex-League members, Lance and Lorelei. Alina, a Psychic who could read emotions, had gravitated toward her for her candidness, and their friendship developed from there.
One of Sarah’s hobbies is making videos, which began with short videos containing absurdist humor. When these videos began to amass a following, it drove Sarah to create more and gave her some more confidence, as it showed her that people could like her for her personality.
Sarah takes after her mother, with her interest in mythology and history. She also has an ironic fascination with conspiracy theories, often playing devil's advocate and pushing her mother’s buttons in playful debates (this family’s love language).
She accompanied Mikey on his journey through Sinnoh, which was her first experience with going on a pokemon journey.
